Betty Mullins

Betty Justice Mullins age 72, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at her home. Betty was born on Sept. 7, 1943 to her parents the late Mitchell Smith and Melster Thacker Smith. She was the wife of the late Arnold Mullins, owner of B.J.'s Florist, and a believer of the freewill baptist faith. Along with her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Lea Stacy Wright, one grandson, Chaz Austin Estep. Betty is survived by two daughters, Cyrina LaDawn (Robin) Hylton, Debbie Jo (Billy Joe) Estep, two brothers, Frank Smith, Roger Smith, one sister, Marilyn Hall, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Joe Estep and Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin.
