Jeffery Gillespie

Jeffery Gillespie, age 54, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Jeffery was born on Dec. 11, 1961 to his parents Otto Gillespie and Reathie Hall Gillespie. He was the husband of Libby Gillespie, a coal miner, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his wife and parents, Jeffery is survived by one daughter, Casey (Dave) Thacker, one son, Joshua (Tiffany) Gillespie, one brother, Reedy Gillespie, two sisters, Teresa Compton, Melissa Gillespie, eight grandchildren, Jacob, Matt, Chloe, Allyson, Marissa, Anna, Ari, and Mason, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillespie Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
