Rans (Toey) Casebolt Jr., age 74, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Toey was born on Jan. 26, 1942 to his parents the late Rans Casebolt and Kelsie Johnson Casebolt. He was a coal miner, member of the U.M.W.A., believer of the christian faith, and he also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam War. Along with his parents, Toey was preceded in death by three sisters, Colleen (Buster) Justice, Irene Casebolt, and Ceres (Albert) Adkins. Toey is survived by one son, Morgan Moore, two sisters, Pansy (Randall) Spears, Patrica (Theodore) Belcher, two brothers, Frank (Lona) Casebolt, Lowell (Carol) Casebolt, nieces and nephews, Corretta, Kerry, Tracy, & Luster Justice, Albert, Dane, and Penny Adkins, Kenny Belcher, Keith & Jeff Spears, Mike and Steve Casebolt, Patricia Chaney, and Aaron Casebolt, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Casebolt Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
