Anita Osborne

Anita Osborne, age 58, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home. Anita was born on Dec. 31 1957 to her parents the late James Melvin Johnson and Regeana Addington Johnson. She was the wife of Homer Osborne, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Anita was preceded in death by one son, Jason Compton, and one sister, Adell Compton. Along with her husband, Anita is survived by one daugher, Christy (George) Compton-Prater, one son, Derick (Myra) Compton, two step daughters, Brandie (Tyrone) Wagner, Crystal Osborne, eight brothers, Clinton (Tammy) Johnson, Freddie (Yvonne) Johnson, Gary Johnson, Johnny (Linda) Johnson, Larry (Birdie) Johnson, Lyndon (Kim) Johnson, Michael (Sharon) Johnson, Roland (Judy)Johnson, two sisters, Gail Johnson, and Valerie (Don) Williams, four granddaughters, two grandsons, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m.at the Lucas & son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
