Ivy Doreen Crum

Ivy Doreen Crum, age 94, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ivy Doreen was born on December 15, 1921 to her parents the late James Morris and Jessie Dear Morris. Ivy Doreen was the wife of the late Sam L. Crum, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. Ivy Doreen was also a member of the Royal Army In London, England. Along with her parents Ivy Doreen was preceded in death by her husband Sam L. Crum, a son Samuel Joseph "Joey" Crum and three sisters. Ivy Doreen is survived by one daughter Carol Long her husband Jerry of Lexington, Kentucky and two sons Jimmy Crum his wife Karen of Pikeville, Kentucky, and David Crum of Betsy Layne, Kentucky. Ivy Doreen is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation for Ivy Doreen will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Betsy Layne Church of Christ, services at 7:00 PM with Bob Harper and Tommy Spears. Funeral services will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Betsy Layne Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Bush Cemetery at Harold, Kentucky.
