L.J. Horne, Jr.

L.J. Horne, Jr, age 84 of Robinson Creek, passed away on May 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 9, 1931 to his parents the late Lee Joseph Sr and Jessie Neil Ison Horne. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Susie Miller Horne Keene. Before his retirement L.J. was a Division Superintendent for American Electric Power. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Yeager Church Of Christ. He is survived by his wife Nora Marie Osborne Horne, by two daughters, Maritta Lea Horne and Sherri Jo (William) Heise, by a brother, John George Horne, by a sister Betty Jo Horne Risner, by two grandchildren, Brandon Gary (Michelle) Belcher and Troy Lee Belcher and by two great grandchildren, Joseph Isiah Belcher and Elijah Lee Belcher. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be held at 7 pm Thursday with Randy May officiating. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
