Ronnie Hitchcock

Ronnie Hitchcock, age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Riverview Health care Center. Ronnie was born on Aug. 24, 1934 to his parents the late Charlie Hitchcock and Sadie Moore Hitchcock. He was the husband of Ruby Spears Hitchcock, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Along with his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Hitchcock Slone, one grandson, Brandon Heath Slone, and one sister, Ruby. Along with his wife, Ronnie is survived by one son, Ricky (Joy) Hitchcock, three daughters, Alma (Danny) Tackett, Carolyn (Lisa) Hitchcock Derossett, Tonya (Oss Jr.) Farmer, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Christian Church of Jesus Christ at McDowell. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Christian Church of Jesus Christ with Terry Isaac and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbury Hall Cemetery at McDowell, Ky.
