Roger Dale Fleming

Roger Dale Fleming age 66, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Roger was born on April 24, 1950 to his parents the late Ballard Fleming and Edith Williams Fleming. He was the husband of Joey Tackett Fleming, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Reece, Carrie Abbondante, and one brother, David Fleming. Along with his wife, Roger is survived by two daughters, Lisa Diann (Roby) Mullins, Melanie Dawn (Robby) Little, two grandsons, Austin Dewayne Wright, Jordan Dale Mullins, four sisters, Mabel (Don) Burke, Mary (Paul) Wanstreet, Dorothy Collier, Sharon (Preston) Hash, four brothers, Bobby (Jerri) Fleming, Paul (Nancy) Fleming, Phillip (Kaye) Fleming, Danny (Judy) Fleming, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dorton Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery at Dorton.
