Bennie Phillip Bartley

Bennie Phillip Bartley, age 73, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home. Bennie was born in Michigan, on Dec. 21, 1942 to his parents the late George Bartley and Clara Newsome Bartley. Bennie was the husband of Lorraine Roberts Bartley for 36 years as of June 23, 2016. He worked at the Dept. of Employement Services as Manager. He attended Pikeville College and was also a teacher for several years. Bennie was the President of the Chamber of Commerce and also a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Along with his wife, Bennie is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Diane (Brian) McGuire, Robin Lynn (Chadd) Webb, six grandchildren, one sister, Burita Dawn (Ellis) Rowe, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 4p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Fred Klatka officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
