John Clarence Sword

John Clarence Sword, age 67 of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, passed away July 7, 2016 at his residence. John Sword was born on February 3, 1949 to his parents the late Duran Sword and Ethel Mae Webb. John was a retired Coal Miner for Action Energy. John Sword is survived by his wife Joyce Wagers Sword. John is survived by one son John C. Sword, Jr.; three daughters Trulena Benner, Victoria Lynn Bryant, Elizabeth Rebecca Frazier. Also survived by one step daughter Susan Bridgeman and one step son Steven Bridgeman. John Sword is also survived by two brothers Tommy Sword, Harvey Robinson and three sisters Betty Helms, Durana Brown and Cheryl Mathney and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church, with church services both Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:00PM at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church with Ronnie Webb and others officiating.
