Joyce Ann Elkins

Joyce Ann Elkins, age 79, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Joyce was born on March 16, 1937 to her parents the late Challie Lucas and Mary Elkins Lucas. She was the wife of the late Bobby Elkins and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Anthony Elkins and Bobby Wayne Elkins Jr., and one brother, Johnny Lucas. Joyce is survived by one daughter, Letha (George) Bailey, one sister, Linda Brock, four brothers, Challie Lucas Jr., Eugene Lucas, Jack Lucas, Willie Lucas, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday Aug. 6, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Barry Lucas and Teddy Honaker officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Mausoleum.
