Geraldine Robinette

Geraldine Robinette, age 86, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home. Geraldine was born on June 20, 1930 to her parents the late Tice Tackett and Beldora Tackett. She was the wife of th elate Kalton Robinette, a retired nurse aide, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Leonard, Mark, and Kirby Tackett, and three sisters, Edna Day, Emma Jean Potter, Lois Day. Geraldine is survived by three sons, Danny Robinette, Ernie Robinette, Michael Robinette, two daughters, Jeanette Ward, Cheryl Compton, one sister in law, Doris Tackett, a special friend Kay McPeek, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Ronnie Dean Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
