Elouise Thacker

Elouise Thacker, age 80, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2016 at the Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. Elouise was born on Oct. 1, 1935 to her parents the late Wallace Compton and Virgie Adams Compton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Along with her parents, Elouise was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Thacker Jr. Elouise is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Glen) Johnson, Bobbie Jo (Damon) Murphy, two sons, Randle (Elizabeth) Thacker, James (Rose) Thacker, fourteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 8,2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Compton Family Cemetery at Island Creek.
