Delores Rucker

Delores Geraline Rucker, age 84, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Delores was born on June 18, 1932 to her parents the late Bryant Caudill and Hulda Hampton Caudill. She was the wife of the late Robert Eugene Rucker, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Burdine. Along with her husband and parents, Delores was preceded in death by three sons, two daughters, three sisters, and two brothers. Delores is survived by two sons, Christopher Rucker,Douglas Wright, five daugthers, Melanie Mullins, Deborah Caudill, Nancy Patel, Michelle Hall, Candace Gallagher, one brother, Bryant Jr. Caudill, twenty grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy at Burdine. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy at Burdine. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg.
