Zetta Chapman

Zetta Christine Chapman, age 76, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Zetta was born on Feb. 11, 1940 to her parents the late William Triplett and Mary Lewis Triplett. She was the wife of the late Richard Leon Chapman, a retired beautician, and a member of the Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Zetta was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Baisden, four brothers, Johnny, William, George, and Lester Triplett, and five sisters, Lavada Amber, Deloris Lee, Mary Triplett, Judith Triplett, and Charlene May. Zetta is survived by four sons, Christopher Chapman, Richard Lee (Virginia) Chapman, Steven (Cheryl) Chapman, Oliver Ray Chapman, one daughter, Ruth (Darl) Chapman, one sister, Darlene Lee, one brother, Clifford Triplett, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 1p.m. at the Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church with Gary Hampton and others officiating.
