Andy Thacker

Andy Thacker, age 64, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Andy was born on Nov. 9, 1951 to his parents the late Andrew Thacker and Ruby Gibson Thacker. He was the husband of Kathy Mullins Thacker, a truck driver, and a member of Shelby Valley Church of Christ. Along with his parents, Andy was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Thacker. Along with his wife, Andy is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Darren) Rowe, Angela (Stephen) Justice, four grandchildren, Allie & Carter Justice, Evan & Owen Rowe, four brothers, Jeff Thacker, Jerry Thacker, Chris Thacker, Kevin Thacker, five sisters, Nettie Thacker, Yvonne Lucas, Debbie Young, Gail Slone, Beverly Chapman, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Shelby Valley Church of Christ with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
