Johnny Michael Robinson, age 64, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Johnny was born on March 5, 1952 to his parents the late Mallie Robinson and Dixie Coldiron Robinson. He was a retired coal miner, a member of the U.M.W.A., and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Douglas Robinson and Howard Robinson, and one sister, Ora Jean Robinson. Johnny is survived by two sons, Johnny Michael Robinson II, James D. Austin Robinson, one daughter, Christina Tackett, two brothers, Lowell Robinson, Mallie Jr. Robinson, two sisters, Linda Sue Robinson Eddy, Marlene Robinson Baron, four grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday Nov. 4, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Willie Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
