Lee Garrett Johnson

Lee Garrett Johnson, age 91 of Somerset, Ky, formerly of Pike County, Ky passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Ky. He was born on March 5, 1925 to his parents the late William Johnson and Elizabeth Branham Johnson. He was a retired school teacher, superintendent, for the Jenkins Independent School System. Lee was a member of DAV, VFW, American Legion and National Education Association and served his Country in the United States Navy. Lee was a member of the United Methodist Church. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Violet Kibiger and Vida Johnson. Lee is survived by his wife Jacqueline Craft Johnson, three brothers Willard Thomas (Helen) Johnson, William Doug (Feba Ann) Johnson, Everett C. (Phyllis) Johnson and one sister Vivette (Roland) LeClerc and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, November 9,2016, at 12:00 Noon with Johnny Vanover and Glenn Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
