John Christopher "Chris" Robinson

John Christopher "Chris" Robinson, age 82, passed away Friday November 11, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Chris was born to his parents the late Kenis Robinson and Rebecca Almeda (Maynard) Robinson. He was the husband of Geraldine (Elkins) Robinson, a retired coal miner and a member of the Apple Orchard Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents Chris was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Moses, and George Robinson, one sister Darlene Canada and one grandchild, Holly Robinson. Chris is survived by his wife Geraldine (Elkins) Robinson, two sons, Bruce (Cheryl) Robinson, David (Kim) Robinson, four daughters, Patty Maynard, Barbara Stotridge, Christine (Jimmy) Clark, and Valerie (Tommy) Williamson. Chris is survived by one sister Bessie Jane Williamson, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM at the Apple Orchard Regular Baptist Church, Brushy, Ky. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Monday at 12:00 Noon with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Apple Orchard Cemetery, Brushy, Ky.
