Gary Boyd

Gary Lee Boyd, age 71, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Gary was born on July 24, 1945 to his parents the late Luther Lee Boyd and Emogene James Boyd. Gary was the husband of Edwena Davis Boyd, the manager of Engineering and Construction for South Central Bell, and a believer of the baptist faith. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with his wife, Gary is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Kent) Groemling, Angela (Harold Jr.) Coleman, one sister, Jacky (Johnie) Stanley, two grandchildren, Kate Groemling, Konnor Groemling, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bruce Sawyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
