WILLIE HAMILTON

Willie Hamilton, age 73 passed away, Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence. Willie was born on September 6, 1943 to his parents the late Robert Hamilton and Emma Bryant Hamilton. Willie was a retired coal miner and an Old Regular Baptist Preacher, he was a member and an Elder of the Little Rachel Old Regular Baptist Church. Willie was preceded in death by his wife Edna Hamilton, his parents, two brothers Elmer Hamilton, Denver Hamilton and one sister Evel Mae Hamilton. Willie is survived by two sons Willie Richard (Gretta) Hamilton, Jr., Ricky(Rachel) Hamilton, two daughters, Carolyn (Cledis) Hamilton, Lisa (Bryan) May. Survived by three brothers Johnny Hamilton, Bobby Gene Hamilton, Clifford Hamilton and four sisters, Pearline Hamilton, Palestine Hamilton, Margaret McKinney, Thelma Mitchell, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM at the Old Union Regular Baptist Church. Church services Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Monday at 12:00 Noon at the Old Union Regular Baptist Church with Elder Johnny Hamilton and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery, Penny Road.
