Ervin Case, age 92, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ervin was born on May 1, 1924 to his parents the late General Case and Wealthy Young Case. Ervin was the companion of Lillian Case, a retired truck driver, and a member of the Dorton Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. Along with his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by his first wife, Luna Case, one daughter, Virginia "Ginnie" Case, two brothers, Tom Case, General Case Jr., two sisters, Dora Powell and Flora Kirk. Along with his companion, Lillian, Ervin is survived by two daughters, Mary Agnes Ball, Sherry (David) Chapman, two sons, Charles "Bo" Case, Eddie "Euch" (Billie Sue) Case, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery at Meta, Ky.
