Arnold Mullins, age 96, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Arnold was born on Jan. 14, 1920 to his parents the late Tommy Mullins and Magdalene Mullins. He was the husband of the late Aileen Mullins, a retired construction worker, a Ky. Colonel, and a member of the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church at Beefhide. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. Along with his wife and parents, Arnold was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Arnold is survived by two sons, Jimmy Darrell (Kathy) Mullins, Terry Randall (Betty) Mullins, one daughter, Lavonda Gaye (Frank) Fleming, seven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Danny Belcher, Teddy Honaker, Clyde Bentley, Elijah Justice, Darrell Newsome, and Cullen Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Rob Ratliff Cemetery at Elkhorn Creek.
