Goldie Taylor

Goldie Taylor, age 93, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2016 at her home. Goldie was born on May 5, 1923 to her parents the late Hawk Collins and Lucy James Collins. She was the wife of the late Glen Taylor, a homemaker, and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with her husband and parents, Goldie was preceded in death by two sons, Claude Taylor and James Taylor, and several brothers and sisters. Goldie is survived by one son, Doug (Rose) Taylor, two daughters, Wanda Garnell Taylor, Pauline Taylor, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bobby Mullins and Stacy Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery at Sycamore.
