Trula Bowling

Trula Bowling, age 77, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at her home. Trula was born on Oct. 13, 1939 to her parents the late Howard Bowling and Liz Newsome Bowling. She was a retired school teacher for Pike County Board of Education and a member of the Eastern Star. Along with her parents, Trula was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Bowling and one sister, Eunice Bowling. Trula is survived by one son, John Hylton, one brother, Allen Bowling, and a host of loving family and friends. The funeral will be Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Newsom Branch Cemetery at Penny Road.
