Andrew Hunt

Andrew Hunt, age 78, passed away Thursday January 19, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Phelps, Ky. Andrew was born on July 5, 1938 to his parents the late Thomas Hunt and Ethel Thornsbury Hunt. He was the husband of the late Dortha Vipperman Hunt and a retired coal miner. Along with his wife and parents, Andrew was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Roy Hunt and Thomas Dewey Hunt. Andrew is survived by two daughters, Mona Irene (Ricky) Collins, Andrea "Kitty" (Stephen E.) Kennard, one son, Rocky Hunt, two brothers, Billy and Earl Hunt, one sister, Ocie "Susie" Abbott, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday January 21, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bobby Conn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Brother's Cemetery at Kimper.
