Clancy Ray Adkins, age 53, passed away Saturday Feb. 4, 2017 at his home. Clancy was born on Feb. 28, 1963 to his parents Pauline Compton Adkins and the late Carney Adkins. He was the husband of Beverly Howell Adkins, and a retired brick layer. Along with his wife and mother, Clancy is survived by two sons, Chadrick Ray (Keisha) Adkins, Bradley Ray (Savanna) Adkins, four brothers, Terry, Donnie, Ronnie, and Dennis Adkins, three sisters, Beulah Harrison, Judy Slone, Mary Ellen Adkins Smith, four grandchildren, Raylie Sue, Addison Rayne, Cason Chadrick, Maverick Cole, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Justice Cemetery at Hurricane.
