Barbara Williamson

Barbara Joyce Williamson, age 80, passed away Feb. 9, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Barbara was born on Sept. 12, 1936 to her parents the late Joseph Chapman and Lassie Chapman. She was the wife of the late Garland Williamson, a homemaker, and a member of the freewill Baptist church. Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Hank Williamson, two brothers, Leon and Clyde Chapman, two grandsons, Joe and Tracy Anderson, two great grandsons, Bobby Lee Williamson Jr., Thomas Little, one great granddaughter, Madison Meade. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Patsy (Brian) Allen, Rose (Ronnie) Luster, two sons, Jerry (Linda) Williamson, Ricky (Patsy) Williamson, one daughter in law, Bridget Williamson, three sisters, Nellie Jean Stillwell, JoAnn Vandyke, Mary Keene, nineteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery at Kimper.
