Flora Wright

Flora Morgan Wright, age 92, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Flora was born on Oct. 17, 1924 to her parents the late Henry Morgan and Julian Isaac Morgan. She was the wife of the late Phebel Morgan Wright, and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Flora was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Wright Mullins, and three brothers, Burt, Alvis, and Henry Morgan Jr. Flora is survived by three daughters, Alva Wright Bryan, Patricia Ann Wright, Annette Wright Adams, two sons, Larry Wright, Gary Wright, two brothers, Marvin Bruce Morgan, Ike Morgan, three sisters, Wanda Morgan Thorsbury, Pina Morgan Reed, Ollie Jewel Morgan Griffith, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin.
