Enola Allen

Enola Gay Allen, age 61, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center. Enola was born on April 22, 1955 to her parents the late Elvey Salisbury and Laura Adkins Salisbury. She was the wife of Jerry Allen, a homemaker, and a member of the Owsley Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband, Enola is survived by one daughter, Misty (Markus) Rose, one son, Jonathan Pente, one sister, Linda Salisbury, three brothers, Gary, Glen, and Michael Salisbury, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Eddie Overstreet and Michael Salisbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Salisbury Family Cemetery at Toler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the funeral home.
