June Bevins

June Bevins age 78, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. June was born on August 27, 1938 to her parents the late Fred Anderson and Darkus Anderson. She was the wife of the late Jonah Bevins, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, June was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, and one great grandchild, Haley. June is survived by two sons, Roger Dale (Edna) Bevins, Danny Ray (Sandy) Bevins, one daughter, Patty Sue (Danny) Hunt, one brother, Bobby Anderson, one sister, Hattie Hackney, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday March 18, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Jack Horne, Joey Ray Horne, and Sammy Slone officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery at Kimper.
