Garry Keith Thornsberry

Garry Keith Thornsberry, age 69 passed away March 18, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Garry was born on November 2, 1947 to his parents the late James L. Thornsberry and Ada Lou Baliles Thornsberry. Garry was Self Employed and Owner of Meta Mart, Meta, Ky for thirty-two years and the Johns Creek Grocery for seven years. Garry was baptized at the age of 10 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Drakesboro, Ky. Garry was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Farrah Tennille Thornsberry Chapman. Garry is survived by his wife Phyllis Thornsberry. Garry is survived by two sons, Joe Shane Thornsberry his wife Natalie, Chad Ray Thornsberry his wife Ashley,two daughters Christy Thacker her husband Kevin, and Dawn Harris. Survived by three brothers James Larry Thornsberry his wife Loretta, Tommy Anthony Thornsberry his wife Bobbie, Stephen Wayne Thornsberry his wife Barbara, two sisters Debbie Lou Stiltner her husband Johnny and Linda Kay Looney her husband Carl Wayne also thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday night at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church Service will be Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Wednesday, at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, Ky.
