Roy Standifur

Roy F. Standifur, age 68, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home. Roy was born on Feb. 19, 1949 to his parents the late Richard Standifur and Dorothy Kilgore Standifur. He was the husband of Anita Bartley Standifur, a coal miner, and a member of Valley Grace Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Roy was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Biggin Daniel Standifur, and one granddaughter, Fancy Williams. Along with his wife, Roy is survived by three daughters, Vivian Warf, April Rooker, Rena Charles, one son, Roy Standifur Jr., oen sister, Della Standifur, five brothers, Don, George, Mike, Bo, and Jim Standifur, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Valley Grace Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 12 noon at the Valley Grace Freewill Baptist Church with Randy May officiating. Burial will follow in the Childers Cemetery at Ashcamp.
