Raymond Harris

Daniel Raymond Harris age 85 passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at his home. Raymond was born Feb. 24,1932 to his parents the late Bill and Sophie Adkins Harris. He was the husband of Jackie Hall Harris, a retired coal miner and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Raymond also served his county honorably in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Along with his parents Raymond was preceded in death by his only brother, Lloyd Vernon Harris. Along with his wife Raymond is survived by one son Danny (Mary), one daughter Debbie ( Jack) Charles, four loving granddaughters, Leigh Ann (Matthew) Eaton, Danielle (Marcus) Scarberry, Amber (Jordan) Fritz, and Amanda Charles and one sister, Linda "Sue" (Donnie) Thacker, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 7:00 at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, April 27 at 1:00 pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Bob Werntz officiating and burial will follow in the Fords Branch Cemetry.
