Richard Johnson

Richard H. Johnson, age 73, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his home. Richard was born on April 21, 1944 to his parents the late William A. Johnson and Gladys M. Castle Johnson. Richard was the husband of Linda G. Mullins Johnson, a self employed carpenter, and a believer of the Church of Christ Faith. Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle. Along with his wife, Richard is survived by six sons, Mark Johnson, Ritchie Johnson, Ryan Slone, Matthew W. Johnson, Richard Brodey Johnson, Jacob D. Johnson, two daughters, Destinee Johnson Flanary, Alexandria Johnson Branham, two brothers, Homer Johnson, Jimmy Clark, five sisters, Phariseen Collins, Shiryl DiVokey, Gloria Gaddy, Phyllis Jane, Billy Jean Little, five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Sam Casebolt officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery at Bowling Fork.
