Link Jo Sowards

Link Jo Bolton Sowards, age 56, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Link Jo was born on Jan. 4, 1961 to her parents the late Link Bolton and Bobbie Jo Clark Bolton. She was the wife of Billy Glenn Sowards, and worked in public relations for Johnson Law Firm. Along with her parents, Link Jo was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy J. Bolton. Along with her husband, Link Jo is survived by one son, Lincoln (Heather) Sowards, three sisters, Wray Lynn (Sandy) Bartley, Patricia S. (Gary) Branham, Sharon B. (Gary) Collins, two grandchildren, Abram Heath Sowards, Kohen Rhett Sowards, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chris Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Whispering Woodland Mausoleum.
