Blake Williamson

Blake Williamson, age 78, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Pikeville medical Center. Blake was born on June 6, 1939 to his parents the late John Williamson and Dora Varney Williamson. Blake was the husband of JoAnn Fraley Williamson, a barber, and a member of the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Blake was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Along with his wife, Blake is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Rhonda) Decker, five step children, Kimberly (Artie) Dotson, Chad Hubbard, Bobby (Sheila) Young, Barry (Laura) Young, Bruce (Aleen) Young, one sister, Gracie Jean Williamson, three brothers, Paul Dean Williamson, Luther (Helen) Williamson, Ralph (Jean) Williamson, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Church services will be Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 20. 2017 at 1p.m. at the Big Creeek Primitive Baptist Church with Mike Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in the Williamson Family Cemetery.
