Carol Lurl Parsons

Carol Lurl Parsons, age 56, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Carol was born on April 20, 1961 to her parents the late Charles Collins and Lona Marie Collins. Carol was a member of the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger Dale Collins, William Collins, and Freddy Collins. Carol is survived by her Aunt, Glenda Tackett her husband Kermit; Uncle, Eddie Sowards his wife Debbie; Cousin, Morgan Eugene Tackett and her companion, Rayvene Adkins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be at the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church, on Stone Coal Sunday at 6:00 PM. Church services will be Sunday and Monday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be at the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church Tuesday, at 1:00 PM with Tommy Webb and Leslie Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery at Penny Road, Virgie, Kentucky
