Dana Vanover

Dana Joan (D.J.) Vanover, age 56, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at her home. Dana was born on Oct. 4, 1960 to her parents Larry Joe Vanover and Lyndall L. Robbins Vanover. She was a caregiver and a member of the Neon United Methodist Church. Along with her parents, Dana is survived by two sons, Roger D. (Terra) Wright, Dustin N. Wright, one daughter, Kassie D. (Randy) Newsome, two brothers, Joe and Raubie Vanover, one sister, Teeni Lowe, four grandchildren, Bailee Wright, Allison Wright, Riley Newsome, Andrew Wright, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Leonard Lowery and Garfield Potter officiating. Burial will follow in the Bumgardener Cemetery at Dorton.
