Joan Justice

Joan Justice, 83, of Shelbiana, Ky. died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her home She was born in Pikeville, KY on November 13, 1933 to the late Jessie and Emma Childers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Montward Justice, one brother, Brad Childers, and three sisters, Irene, Hazel, and Dorothy, and one son in law, Roger Adkins, and one grandchild Sara Woods. She is survived by her loving children, two sons, Montie (Teresa) Justice, Kermit (Delphia) Justice, two daughters, Plina (Glenn) Adkins, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Woods, nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, two sisters, Margie Thompson, and Betty Williams. She was truly a treasure to her family and will be forever missed. Visitation will be Thursday 6p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Richard Meek, Ernie Justice, and others officiating Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
