Robert Gene Ratliff

Robert Gene Ratliff, age 65, of Elkhorn City, Ky., passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born in Pike County, Ky on May 13, 1952, to his parents the late James Robert Ratliff and Betty Mullins Ratliff. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Sandy McKeone, one nephew Johnny Patterson. Robert Gene is survived by one daughter Julie Field (Michael), one son Robert Ratliff, Jr. his companion Valarie Ratliff. He is also survived by two sisters Jerra Lester, Tina Plonka, (Tony), by two nieces, Tammy Lester, Christy Ratliff-Ofenloch),(Larry), two nephews, James Patterson (Jill), Jason Patterson and a host of loving great nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 12:00 Noon, with Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the Coleman and Ratliff Family Cemetery.
