Tonia Kay Bray-Nichols

Tonia Kay Bray-Nichols, age 59 of Pikeville, Ky, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Tonia was born on December 1, 1957 to her parents the late Henry Cecil Bray and Thelma Hall Bray. Tonia was the wife of Danny Nichols. Tonia was of the Mayflower Unity Baptist Faith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one son Patrick Nichols. Tonia is survived by her husband Danny Nichols and one daughter Kristi Edmonds (Charles), a daughter in law, Brandi. She is also survived by one brother William Bray (Georgiana) and two sisters Sharon K. Braley (John) and Etheline Bentley. Tonia is survived by four grandchildren, Hannah Edmonds, Zachary Edmonds, Logan Nichols, Lainey Nichols and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017, at the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church on Caney Creek of Johns Creek Road, with visitation at 6:00 PM. Church services will be Monday night at 7:00 PM at the church. Funeral will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church with Kenneth Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
