Johnny Michael Mattingly

Johnny Michael Mattingly, age 68, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at his home. Johnny was born on Dec. 30, 1949 to his parents the late James Mattingly and Beulah Gallion Mattingly. He was the husband of Doris Bowersock Mattingly, a retired sheriff's office, member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his wife, Johnny is survived by one son, Todd Mattingly, one sister, Rosemary Hill, two brothers, David Mattingly, Matt Mattingly, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tommy England officiating. Burial will follow in Family Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
