Ralph Blackburn

Ralph R. Blackburn, age 74, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at the Brookdale Richmond Place. Ralph was born on April 4, 1943 to his parents the late Jimmy Blackburn and Bessie Goff Blackburn. He was the husband of the late Sandra Sue Justice Blackburn, a retired coal miner, member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church. He also served his country honorably in the United States Marines. Ralph is survived by two sons, Jeff Blackburn, Chad Blackburn, one sister, Ola McPeek, two grandchildren, Cody Robert Blackburn, Kelli Blackburn, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with David Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery.
