Ellen Childers

Ellen Sue Richardson Childers, age 62, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born on June 12, 1955 to her parents the late Herman Nissen II and Mary Ellen Burden Nissen. She was a bartender at the Landmark Inn and a believer of the Church of God Faith. Along with her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Nissen, and one sister, Sharon Ann Nissen. Ellen is survived by three daughters, Gresha (Phillip) Hess, Marie (Cole) White, Gina (Ray) Howard, one son, Kevin (Nancy) Richardson, two brothers, Bill and Joe Nissen, two sisters, Mary Albrecht, Donna Yeager, ten grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday October 6, 2017 at 3p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hess Family Cemetery at Sidney, Ky.
