Gregory Mattingly

Gregory K. Mattingly, age 70 of Elkhorn City, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his residence. Gregory was born on February 5, 1947 to his parents the late Joseph Paul Mattingly and Delphia Mattingly. Gregory was the husband of Brenda Mattingly. Gregory was a retired Underground Mine Foreman for Bethlehem Steel and a member of the Corner Stone Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents Gregory was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Mattingly and one sister, Madelyn Parsons. Gregory is survived his wife Brenda and one son, Ryan Mattingly (Louella). Gregory is survived by one brother, Don Mattingly, five sisters, Adoree Stanley, Shirley Wright, Linda Mattingly, Irene Carlton, Pauline Branham, sister in law, Regis Mattingly, a grandson, Nathanial Mattingly and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2017, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be held Monday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Gary Hall, Jim Patton, Randy Bentley and Lloyd Holland officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana.
