Paris Conway

Paris Preston "Boots" Conway, age 83, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Paris was born on March 5, 1934 to his parents the late James Paris Conway and Dora Thacker Conway. He was the husband of Virginia Thacker Conway, a coal miner, and a member of the Chloe Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Paris was preceded in death by one brother, John Dewey Conway. Along with his wife, Paris is survived by two sons, Mark (Mindy) Conway, Bobby Conway, two brothers, Alvin Conway, Dave Conway, one sister, Reba Cochran, two grandchildren, Emily Conway, Courtney Hicks, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
