Ronnie Easterling

Ronnie O'Neil Easterling, age 77, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home. Ronnie was born on August 31, 1940 to his parents the late Winfield Robert Easterling and Samie Arcona Bartley Easterling. He was a coal miner and welder and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. He also served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during Vietnam War. Ronnie is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Bryan) Ploeg, Teresa (Tim) Engle, one sister, Ella Brook Meade, six brothers, Donnie, Dean, William, Edwin, Richard, and Wendell Easterling, three grandchildren, Marina, Connor, and Sophia, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Johns Creek D.A.V. performing services. Burial will follow in the family cemetery on Dry Fork.
