Melster Hall

Melster Oakes Hall, age 85, passed away Nov. 4, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. Melster was born on Feb 19, 1932 to her parents the late Howard Oakes and Hattie Wright Oakes. She was the wife of the late Douglas Hall, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Melster was preceded in death by one son, Randall Wayne Hall, two brothers, and one sister. Melster is survived by two sons, Douglas Edward (Evyonne) Hall, Howard Thomas Hall, two sisters, four brothers, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday from 4p.m. to 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Carson Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Rob Ratliff Cemetery.
