Jessie Freeman

Jessie D. Freeman, age 97, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at the Signature Health Care Center. Jessie was born on Nov. 13, 1920 to her parents the late J.D. Freeman and Ida Burchett Freeman. She graduated from Niack Missionary School in 1946 and opened her missionary school in 1947. She was a homemaker, a missionary, and she taught children bible classes and worked at a Christian bookstore. Along with her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by one sister, Molly Freeman and two brothers, Clarence and Oliver Freeman. Jessie is survived by one niece, Mary Freeman of Sacramento, Ca., and host of loving family and friends and her church family who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Wednesday at 7p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery at Hurricane Creek.
